Literature Text

Brilliance painted on the sky, the day ends.

A plethora of tiny concepts balance,
stacked upon my shoulders,
each step determining which fall
and which remain.

Looking through wilted windows,
a world weeps worried tears,
effectively clouding one's vision.

There is one desire in my mind.
A wondrous want,
just pleading to be fulfilled.

I exhale from my wardrobe
and step upon gelid ground.
A twist of the wrist,
and it falls, flowing.

One step
and a banal baptism
washes over my shoulders.

Every idea weighing down
thin skin and lone bones
is swept into dystopia.

My eyes are once again cleared
of pessimistic propaganda
and ludicrous lies.

In a single flowing motion,
my arms raise to the heavens,
and billions of water droplets align
to create a detailed pair of wings.

Heat reverberates
through my mind
as my toes leave earth
and I become weightless.

Light as white as a dove
of utopias unknown
embraces me.

Finally, a promised hope returns.
The title is supposed to be "Withered Windows and White Utopias". Just a short poem, hope you like it. Let me know what you get from it.
